| Actcell-AQ
is a comprehensive, but balanced, collection of broad
beneficial microorganisms and organic enzymes, designed for freshwater or
saltwater aquaculture applications. The following usage description presents
the general shrimp farming application. The aqua grower may modify the
procedure for fit into his particular
needs. |
| Pond Cleaning &
Inoculation |
| After previous harvest, drain out all the water in the pond and dredge up
sludge and let sludge dry out by sunlight. If in previous season prawn pond had
pathogenic problem, apply disinfectant or fungicide on the pond’s bottom and
wait 7 to 10 days before applying Actcell-AQ. Spray diluted Actcell-AQ
solution on every inch of pond’s bottom and surrounding walls. Actcell-AQ
microbes can inoculate the bottom, clean up the remained waste materials
and inhibit pathogenic activities from previous
operation. |
| Recommended Amounts &
Actions |
| Generally 2 ~ 2.5kg of Actcell-AQ mixes with
sufficient quantity of water to distribute or spray on 10,000 sq. meters(1ha) of pond's
surface. Wait for 2 to 3 days before feeding water. This allows Actcell-AQ
microbes to populate in the bottom's soil. If the pond's bottom looks
too dry, spray water on the pond's surface. After Actcell-AQ innoculation
, the grower can gradually increase the water level in the pond in order to
maintain the water color. The water should gradually shows the sign of growing
healthy algae. |
| Water Quality Maintenance |
| During the shrimp growing season, spray Actcell-AQ on the water surface. This operation is able to reduce the level of
NH3-N, NO2-N, NO3-N and H2S; to
maintain better water quality by removing wastes generated in the pond; to
control the fungi; to inhibit the pathogenic activities; and to reduce the
possibility of aqua animal's skin disease. After applying Actcell-AQ in
a short period of time, shrimps become vigor and have no sign of life
stress. |
| Recommended Amounts &
Actions |
| Every week, apply
Actcell-AQ AQ to sufficient quantity of water to distribute or spray
on 10,000 sq. meters(1ha) of pond's surface. The best time to apply Actcell-AQ
microbes is in late afternoon before sun down. If the pond's is over populated
or contains excess feeding waste, increase the amount of Actcell-AQ. Do
not apply when it is in heavy raining or before discharging water, it can flood
away microbes. |
| Internal Consumption |
| Mix Actcell-AQ with feeding food can greatly
improve the healthy state of shrimp. When shrimps consume feeding food with
Actcell-AQ as natural vitamin, shrimps absorb the abundant enzymes
contained by beneficial microbes. This operation can greatly improve shrimps
grow. Furthermore, Actcell-AQ microbes provide extra-cellular enzymes, which
also show anti-virus functions in aqua animals, can restraint the outbreak of
shrimp illness such as "white spot disease", and can reduce the "soft shell"
problem during shrimp fast growing
period. |
